TallyPrime - Procedure for Deleting a Voucher.

How to Delete a Voucher ?

One can follow the below mentioned example steps to know, process for deleting a Voucher already entered in TallyPrime.

Before going to delete a Voucher you should be sure about the transaction you have entered.

Example :

In the Books of 'KA DIGITAL WORLD' delete Payment Voucher No.1 date :01/04/2025

Transaction of 'Security Deposit for Rent' for ₹48,000/-.

Procedure for Deleting the above Voucher.

Procedure -1

On Gateway of Tally Screen

Press 'D' or select and press 'Enter' on 'Display More Reports'

Press 'D' or select and press 'Enter' on 'Day Book'

Press 'F2' or click on menu 'F2: Date' to enter Date of Voucher you have to delete.

Select 'Payment Voucher No.1' by pressing 'Space Bar' (Move cursor with the help of arrow keys)

Press 'Alt+D' to delete selected Voucher.

Press 'Y' or 'Enter' to complete the Voucher Delete. 

Now you can check in Day Book to know status of the deleted Voucher.
